10 more days!

In 10 days I will be packing up the Honda and hitting the road.  Milwaukee Or Bust! Full of nervous anticipation but also sheer joy and excitement to meet some super creative folks, many of whom I have only met online. Some of the work I'll be bringing with me are focal beads, lots & lots of bead sets, some cool new heart pendants and spiral discs in every imaginable color. Seriously, if I make another disc bead I'm gonna lose my mind. On the positive side, production work makes me a better beadmaker, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
 So if your heading to Bead & Button stop by Booth 1236 and say "Hi"!

Studio Happenings

The studio aka... disaster area is getting a good cleaning. Today is day 3 and hopefully the final day as I want to get back to melting glass soon. In the meantime I have listed a lot of new work this week in my Etsy shop. Some very cool chunky discs that I did in clear and then added the color band just in the middle and then acid etched for a soft matte (kind of beach glass) look! A few sets of spree shaped beads in some fun colors and handmixed streaky cane too. Hope everyone has a great week. I know I will(the kiddos are back in school!)
